Project Settings - MIDI Audio Generation

When you render your project, FrettyCharts provides the option to also create a MIDI audio file for each chord or scale. Furthermore, if you choose to have a website saved for your project, you can choose to attach a link to each image which will play the audio file in the browser.

To test the MIDI playback, remember that while editing a chord or scale you can always click the playback button on the editor tool-bar, as marked in red below.

To open the MIDI settings, go to the "Project" menu and select "MIDI Settings". The following window will appear:

Note that all playback time values are entered in milliseconds, 1000 = 1 second.

Length of Chord Notes

The amount of time between notes in chord playback

Length of Scale Notes

The amount of time between notes in scale playback

Length of Final Chord Note

The amount of time the last note of chord plackback will sustain for

Length of Final Scale Note

The amount of time the last note of scale plackback will sustain for

Volume

The playback MIDI volume, between 0 and 127
